About Maleeha Bengali

Maleeha Bengali is the fund manager of MB Commodities Capital and founder of the popular Commodity Corner newsletter, offering daily actionable advice and commentary on global commodities markets. She is a regular contributor to TheStreet PRO and other leading business outlets.

She graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering in 1997. From 1997-2012, she worked as a portfolio manager and trader for various Hedge Funds and Proprietary Trading desks across both US and Europe.

She started her career at UBS O’Connor, a global multi strategy Hedge Fund where she gained experience across a host of trading strategies and asset classes. She then went on to work for Goldman Sachs J. Aron, Merrill Lynch Commodities, and Noble Group, where she launched and managed their Commodities and Equities investment funds specializing in Energy and Basic Resource Equities and the respective Commodities.

In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, biking, yoga and is a DJ specialising in organic house/electronic dance music.
